Gods Calling behind A Little Love Farm…

“God’s calling on my life - to serve children - was always evident to me. In 2010, I reluctantly signed up for my first international mission trip because the focus was on serving orphans. Since then, I’ve continued going on those trips each year. A short time later, I joined the Board of Directors at Orphan Resources International and served with their organization for over 10 years. From the time I was a young girl, animals have been a part of my life. It is well known that being around animals provides many benefits to children. During a Sanctity of Life Sunday service at my church, a panel of foster and adoptive parents from our community spoke and shared their experiences. It was during that service that God softly whispered to me that I should begin a non-profit to benefit the overall well-being of children.

A few months later, while unable to sleep one night in Guatemala on a mission trip, God gave me the name A Little Love Farm. The journey to help children began. Our goal is to mentor and support children in the outdoors - enjoying nature and benefiting from the wonderful animals God has created.” ~ Desiree
